Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant on a part-time basis, 10 hours per week, across 43.8 weeks per year. You'll be at the heart of our operation, delivering high-quality food and maintaining kitchen cleanliness while representing the Brand.

You will work as part of a team, handle deliveries, use machinery safely, and adhere to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent team player with good communication skills.
• Reliable with exceptional timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensure safe operation of all machinery and equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading of deliveries and supplies.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
