Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant on a 25-hour-per-week contract, with 43.6 weeks per year. You’ll be the heart of our operation, taking pride in the food, our brand, and most of all our people.

Your responsibilities include preparing delicious, high-quality meals; keeping the kitchen and surroundings clean; using all equipment safely; assisting with deliveries; representing Chartwells; and upholding Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
