Job summary

Integra Resourcing Group in Mansfield is recruiting a Catering Assistant to support the school kitchen team in preparing and serving meals for pupils and staff. The role is part-time with weekday hours 10:00–14:00 and may vary.

You will help with meal prep, washing up, cleaning, and maintaining high hygiene standards. No weekend work, flexible assignments, and ongoing support from our recruitment team.

Qualifications

• Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Comfortable working in a busy school environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals.
• Helping with general kitchen duties, including washing up and cleaning.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
• Ensuring the dining and kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Supporting the catering team to ensure the smooth running of the school kitchen.
• Providing a friendly and helpful service to pupils and school staff.
