Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our education sector team on a part-time contract of 12.5 hours per week, across 43.8 weeks per year. You'll be at the heart of our operation, helping to deliver delicious food while upholding our brand and standards.

The role requires the ability to work under pressure, be flexible for shifts, and demonstrate reliability, teamwork and attention to cleanliness and safety in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensure correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assist with loading or unloading deliveries and supplies.
• Represent Chartwells and uphold brand image.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
