Job summary

Totally Local Company is seeking a General Catering Assistant for Limehurst Primary School in Stockport. This on-site, fixed-term role is 15 hours per week (Mon-Fri 11:00-14:00) with a 6-month term, working at Limehurst Primary School.

Qualifications

• Basic food preparation and service of meals.
• Experience in a busy kitchen environment.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate - Level 1 (desirable).
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of food.
• Assist with serving meals and clearing crockery.
• Prepare dining room and counter daily.
• Undertake cleaning of kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with buffets and working lunches.
• Perform other duties related to the department as required.
• Potentially assist with food prep for special functions.
