Compass Group (Uppingham School) is seeking a friendly Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team. You will help prepare and serve high-quality food for pupils, staff and visitors, while upholding food safety and cleanliness standards. No previous catering experience is required and full training is provided.

The role is full-time, with shifts 5 days out of 7, including early mornings. You will work as part of a supportive team at Uppingham School, with opportunities to develop your catering

Qualifications

• No catering experience required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and service of fresh, high-quality food.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Operate tills and handle transactions where required.
• Support kitchen during busy periods and help with stock movement.
• Provide friendly, professional service to pupils, staff and visitors.
