Job summary

Chartwells is seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant on a part-time basis, contracted to 15 hours per week. Please note: this role is contracted to 43.6 weeks per year and will require pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food handling and hygiene standards.
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Keep kitchen and surrounding areas clean and hygienic.
• Ensure correct use of all kitchen machinery and equipment.
• Assist with loading or unloading deliveries and supplies.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
