Poplar Street Primary invites applications for a Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly staff in Audenshaw. The role involves supervising the dining hall, assisting with general kitchen duties and helping ensure a safe, enjoyable lunchtime for pupils.

This is a permanent, term-time only post, 10 hours per week, with a pro-rata salary of £25,248 per year; actual salary £6,088. Start date to be confirmed. DBS checks and safeguarding processes apply.

Qualifications

• Caring and reliable team player with a positive approach to children.
• Patient, approachable and proactive in supporting pupils during lunchtimes.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsabilités

• Supervise children in the dining hall during lunchtimes.
• Assist with general kitchen duties and meals supervision.
• Encourage good manners and positive behaviour during meals.
• Respond and record accidents or concerns; work with staff to maintain a safe lunchtime.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and communicate effectively with colleagues.
