Aramark UK at The Oxford Academy in Littlemore, Oxford, is seeking an Assistant Cook to support the preparation and service of nutritious meals in a busy school dining environment, enhancing the dining experience for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering or kitchen environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals.
• Supporting the lead cook and catering team with daily kitchen operations.
• Serving food to students, staff and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Preparing ingredients and ensuring food is cooked to specification.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Assisting with stock rotation and storage procedures.
• Completing cleaning schedules and records accurately.
• Following all food safety, health and safeguarding procedures.
• Helping create a welcoming dining experience for customers.
