Chartwells Independent is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to be the heart of the operation on a permanent casual basis. The role is contracted to 0 hours per week, with shift patterns Mon-Fri (Full Time Days).

Qualifications

• Experience preparing high quality food in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Knowledge of correct use of kitchen machinery and equipment.
• Awareness of Food Handling & Hygiene standards and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensure correct use of all kitchen machinery and equipment.
• Assist with loading or unloading deliveries and supplies.

• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
