Chartwells is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, contracted to 27.5 hours per week across 42.6 weeks per year. You will be at the heart of our operation, helping to prepare meals, keep the kitchen pristine, and support delivery operations while upholding the Chartwells brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food service is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment checks (DBS disclosure).

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensure correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and supplies.
• Represent Chartwells and uphold a positive brand image.
• Comply with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
