Job summary

Caterlink is looking for an Assistant Chef at St Augustine Academy in Maidstone to ensure nutritionally balanced and tasty meals for pupils while upholding high food safety standards and service quality.

You will plan, prepare and cook meals, brief kitchen teams on menus, and maintain excellent food and customer service. The role is term-time only (39 weeks/year), 30 hours per week, with pay up to £15.00 per hour, plus development opportunities through apprenticeships and on-the-job training.

• Brief kitchen teams on menus and service.
• Ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are applied continuously and carry out company bookwork.
