Job description

We're looking for a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted for 26 hours per week. You will be a key part of a team that takes pride in their food, brand, and most importantly, their people. Shift Pattern:
  • Monday: Mornings
  • Tuesday: Mornings
  • Wednesday: Mornings
  • Thursday: Mornings
  • Friday: Mornings
  • Saturday: Off
  • Sunday: Off

This role is contracted for 44 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing high-quality, delicious food to delight our clients and customers
  • Maintaining cleanliness standards in the kitchen and surrounding areas
  • Using machinery and equipment correctly and safely
  • Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and supplies
  • Representing Chartwells positively and maintaining our brand image
  • Following Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Adhering to Health & Safety regulations
