Kitchen Assistant - Chartwells

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to be a vital part of our team at Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted for 25 hours per week. Shift Pattern:

• Monday: Full-time (Days)
• Tuesday: Full-time (Days)
• Wednesday: Full-time (Days)
• Thursday: Full-time (Days)
• Friday: Full-time (Days)
• Saturday: Flexible
• Sunday: Flexible

Please note: This role is contracted for 43.8 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas to high standards
• Ensuring proper use of all machinery and equipment
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and supply vehicles
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
• Adhering to Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
• Managing pressure, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively at all levels
• Being an excellent team player
