Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted for 17.5 hours per week. You will be a vital part of our team, which takes pride in its food, brand, and most importantly, its people. Shift Pattern

Shifts are typically scheduled for 5 out of 7 days. Please note: This role is contracted for 43.2 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food to delight our clients and customers
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring proper use of all machinery and equipment
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and supplies
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
• Adhering to Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Following Health & Safety regulations
• Managing pressure, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively at all levels
• Being an excellent team player
• Demonstrating organization, reliability, and a desire to succeed
• Working flexibly across shifts
