Job description

Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

We're seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to be a vital part of our team at Chartwells. This is a part-time role, contracted for 15 hours per week, within a company that values its people and offers opportunities for growth and development.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday: Mornings
• Saturday and Sunday: No shifts

Note: This role is contracted for 43.6 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food for our clients and customers
• Maintaining cleanliness standards in the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Using all machinery and equipment correctly and safely
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and supplies
• Representing Chartwells and upholding our brand image
• Adhering to Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

• Ability to work under pressure, manage tasks, and communicate effectively
• Excellent team player with a committed and organized approach
