Job summary

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated nurse to join the School Aged Immunisation Service (SAIS) delivering vaccinations in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. You will need to manage time, lead where required, and have IT skills, with occasional driving of service vans between sessions.

The role focuses on delivering immunisations to children aged 0-19, supporting public health goals and ensuring safe, evidence-based practice in a variety of settings.

Qualifications

• Registered with the NMC as a midwife.
• Experience delivering immunisations to children is desirable.
• Knowledge of childhood immunisation schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver immunisations in schools and community settings.
• Adhere to NMC Code of Conduct and Trust guidance.
• Promote vaccination and child health in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
• Drive service vans to transport vaccinations between sessions.
