About The Academy

About The Role

We invite applications from enthusiastic and flexible ICT support specialists to join our existing ICT support team. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of hardware and software, be highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Experience in an ICT support role or similar is advantageous.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage own workload through the allocation of calls via the helpdesk;
  • Provide first-line ICT support to staff and students;
  • Assist with maintenance of all ICT rooms and equipment;
  • Assist with general technical support for the ICT department;
  • Assist with evaluation of new and existing software;
  • Attend and contribute to ICT-related meetings;
  • Develop recording systems for ICT usage throughout the department;
  • Keep ICT software/hardware inventories up to date;
  • Provide technical support for staff presentations;
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety legislation;
  • Commission, maintain, test, and repair electronic/computer systems and AV equipment, ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation;
  • Install and configure software under the direction of the network manager.
