Job Opportunity: Community Support Worker (School Holiday Programme)

Contract Duration: 1-2 weeks fixed term during NZ School Holidays

Hourly Rate: $23.50 - $29.10

Location: Auckland region (various sites)

Join our Auckland-based team supporting children with learning disabilities during school holidays. Our focus is on providing fun, safe, and positive environments where children can participate actively and develop confidence and independence.

Role Overview

As a Community Support Worker, you will work with a team to create a secure and healthy space for children with disabilities, facilitating activities and supporting engagement. You will report to the Programme Leader and work varied shifts during the school holidays, typically Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm or 4:30 pm.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:
  • Is passionate about supporting people with disabilities to live fulfilling lives
  • Communicates effectively and supportively with colleagues and clients
  • Supports personal cares such as bathing, dressing, and toileting with empathy
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
  • Committed to achieving a Community Support Worker Level 3 qualification
  • Experience with supporting people with disabilities and challenging behaviours
  • Reliable, dedicated, and passionate about this work
  • Possesses a full New Zealand driver’s license
  • Proficient with computers, including Word, Internet, and email
