Qualified Food Technology Teacher
Birmingham

Aspire People are looking for an experienced qualified Food Technology teacher to cover in a lovely School in Birmingham. The position is covering the whole of the summer term and will be full time. This role would be suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers, in addition to those with more experience.

The successful teacher must have:

  1. A track record of teaching Food Technology within the curriculum
  2. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the value of using progress data on pupil performance to inform teaching and learning, integral to driving student performance and attainment, along with delivering effective outcomes for all
  3. Passion for the subject to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities
  4. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
  5. Excellent inter-personal and organisational skills
  6. Effective classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management, committed to ensuring all students succeed and fulfil their potential
  7. Ability to demonstrate a range of innovative teaching and learning strategies
  8. Hold an Enhanced DBS (A full DBS check for the successful candidate)
