Job description

Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of one of our Wirral client secondary schools who are currently recruiting for a Food Technician to join their supportive Design and Technology department.


This position is available ASAP and will be ongoing. Pay for this position will pay up to £95 per day.


Our client school are looking for a Food Technician to help ensure the smooth running of the Food department within the school. Working closely with the Food Technology Teacher to ensure that Health and Safety regulations are met, and all lessons are fully resourced and prepared for.


The successful Food Technician will be joining a school whose vision is to ensure that every member of the school community will harness the power of education to realise their potential and achieve their dreams.


To be considered for this Food Technician position in Knowsley, the essentials are:
  1. Experience working in a school (advantageous)
  2. Food Hygiene Certificate
  3. An excellent communicator with a 'can do' attitude.
  4. Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one.
  5. Full and complete career history
  6. Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  7. Legal right to work in the UK.
