Job summary

Propel Schools is seeking a Food Service Manager in Edinburgh to oversee network-wide child nutrition programs, working with the Director of Food Service. You will monitor food quality, sanitation, and program compliance while supporting vendor performance and on-site coverage during meals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ~25 Propel Schools food service employees with leadership and coaching.
• Coordinate food and supply orders and maintain inventory across locations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and NSLP/SBP/CACFP where applicable.
• Monitor contracted vendor performance and liaise with HR on staffing matters.
• Support on-site coverage during breakfast and lunch to ensure uninterrupted service.
