Job summary

Farrer Barnes Limited is recruiting a School Finance Assistant for a long-established school in the Tenterden area. You will manage the day-to-day invoicing cycle, postings, and month-end procedures under the Finance Manager, with scope to learn and develop.

Experience with Access Dimensions is essential; part or full AAT qualification is preferred. This temporary role offers potential for permanency and a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience using Access Dimensions.
• Part or fully AAT qualified is preferred.
• Education sector experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day invoicing cycle and relevant financial administration around invoice and payment processing.
• Manage journals and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Support budget management, reporting, month-end closing, and ad hoc financial reporting.
