Finance Manager


Our client, an innovative organisation dedicated to supporting children facing educational challenges, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their dynamic team in Stratford!




  • Hourly Rate: £20ph

  • Working Pattern: Full Time

  • Hours: 9am - 5pm (office-based)

  • Duration: 2-3 months with potential for extension



About the Role:
As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of our academies. Collaborating closely with headteachers and the Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure effective and efficient use of resources while contributing to the academies' improvement plans.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and prepare annual budgets and forecasts

  • Monitor income and expenditure, producing timely reports for headteachers and budget holders

  • Maintain high financial control standards and oversee all financial transactions

  • Generate and coordinate new income streams aligned with our mission

  • Prepare for annual audits and liaise with auditors
