TeacherActive is currently recruiting for a School Finance & Admin Assistant to join a primary SEND school in Sutton Coldfield on a full-time, long-term basis leading into a permanent role.

As the School Finance & Admin Assistant, you will provide essential support to the leadership and finance teams, while being front of house, attending to parents, visitors, and the wider community.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Experience with Bromcom is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Greeting and assisting visitors, parents, and students professionally
  2. Managing front office operations, including answering phones, emails, and correspondence
  3. Supporting finance tasks such as invoicing, purchase orders, and budget monitoring
  4. Maintaining student records, attendance, and confidential information
  5. Assisting with enrolment and student admissions
  6. Preparing reports, newsletters, and communications
Candidate requirements:
  1. Experience in a school admin office or reception preferred
  2. Experience with Bromcom is a plus
  3. Effective communication skills with children and adults
  4. Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
