Job summary

Aspire People is seeking experienced maintenance professionals to work as school caretakers on a temporary basis across a forward-thinking school. Full-time and part-time roles available, with varied contracts through the school year.

You will perform general maintenance, litter picking, open/close the building, set alarms, and complete tasks safely, working solo or with the supervisor. DBS check required, cost £57 if not on update service.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance and site upkeep.
• Willing to work on a temporary basis with flexible hours.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• DBS check required or willing to obtain Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (£57).

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance of the school and litter picking.
• Carry out odd jobs delegated by the supervisor.
• Open and close the school building.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks safely.
