Job summary

Philosophy Education LTD. is seeking a School Premises Assistant for a large secondary school in Ealing. The role is full-time on a long-term contract to support the premises team with general maintenance and events preparation.

You will work five days a week with the premises manager, with hours confirmed on appointment and flexibility for opening/closing of the school. DBS required or to be processed.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance is required.
• Experience in schools or educational settings preferred.
• Physically fit and professional approach.
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs around school facilities.
• Prepare areas for events, including furniture setup.
• Ensure site is opened/closed at designated times with the premises team.
• Assist with site supervision and building security.
• Coordinate with premises manager, cleaners, and contractors.
