Job summary

The Meadows School (Sandwell) (SIPS) invites applications for the position of Assistant Site Manager to support day‑to‑day site management. The role involves maintaining the security, appearance, and standard of school premises and surrounding areas under the direction of the Site Manager.

Hours are 37 per week; Grade D, SCP 9 to 17, with a salary of £27,254-£31,022 per annum. Location: The Meadows School, Dudley Road East, Oldbury, with additional site addresses as indicated.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Reliable, dedicated, and able to work as part of a team.
• Excellent communication with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Improve and maintain the cleanliness and general appearance of the school buildings and grounds.
• Repair and maintain the school premises and grounds.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and regulatory requirements through routine and scheduled maintenance.
• Demonstrate best practice in the management of the school premises.
• Use ICT systems and Microsoft packages.
