An educational trust in the UK is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and secure school facilities at multiple sites. The role offers flexibility for full-time, part-time, or casual work and includes responsibilities such as daily maintenance tasks, premises security, and collaborating with external contractors. Ideal candidates should possess customer service skills and knowledge of health and safety protocols.
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the Facilities Manager in looking after the building and grounds at Cornwallis Academy, New Line Learning Academy and Tiger Primary School. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties including maintenance, cleanliness and security of the school building and grounds.
Our core operations run Monday to Friday, 6am to 10 pm, with additional lettings taking place at weekends. This structure gives us real flexibility to shape the role around the right person. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, casual work, or occasional hours on an as-needed basis – we’re open to working around you.
Responsibilities of the post holder are not limited to, but will include:
You will be a responsible individual who takes pride in your day-to-day work. You will be very pro-active in attending to the needs of the school to ensure everything runs smoothly andbe able to provide excellent customer service skills as well as having an awareness of health and safety issues. A good understanding of plumbing, electrical systems and DIY would be desirable.
