Job summary

The Heights Blackburn is inviting applications for a Site Supervisor on a full time, full year contract. The role starts as soon as possible and includes ensuring all school areas are prepared for use, maintaining security, and overseeing cleaning and maintenance across the site.

You will undertake routine inspections and first-line repairs, with responsibilities spanning health & safety compliance, legionella checks, and reporting concerns to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in routine in-house inspections, tests and maintenance.
• Competent with general maintenance/DIY including painting, joinery and repair.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain all areas of the school for use, including cleaning of specified areas and overseeing cleaning for the whole school.
• Take responsibility for building security, opening/closing for school day, meetings and maintenance.
• Maintain equipment and undertake first-line repairs and maintenance.
• Carry out routine in-house inspections, tests and maintenance and keep records for legal compliance (e.g. legionella, health & safety) and report concerns to the Head Teacher/School Business Manager.
