Job summary

Woolmer Hill School in Warrington is seeking a reliable maintenance/caretaking operative to manage daily upkeep of buildings and grounds, perform minor repairs, and coordinate with external contractors to keep areas safe and clean.

The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some work during school holidays. Full training will be provided and a permanent contract follows a six-month probation.

A Local Government Pension Scheme membership is included.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or caretaking is essential.
• School environment experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day maintenance of school buildings and grounds.
• Carry out minor repairs as required.
• Liaise with external contractors to ensure work is completed.
• Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, health and safety standards are maintained.
