Lodestone House, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, is recruiting for an experienced Hospitality Chef to join the catering team at Bedford School. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality food and hospitality across a varied operation within a prestigious independent school.

You will plan, prepare, cook and present food to a consistently high standard, working with the on-site leadership team to develop menus, support hospitality services and continually improve the food offer.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Hospitality Chef in a high-quality catering environment.
• City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Food Hygiene qualification and strong food safety knowledge.
• Able to work 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, flexible.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality food to company and client standards.
• Supporting hospitality services and delivering an excellent experience for customers and guests.
• Planning and implementing menu changes and new food concepts.
• Contributing ideas to develop and improve the food offer.
• Responding to customer feedback and identifying opportunities to improve quality and service.
• Managing stock levels, ordering and waste to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Maintaining high standards of food presentation and quality.
• Supervising the kitchen team when required.
• Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and organisation.
• Ensuring compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, allergen, hygiene and Health & Safety requirements.
