Job summary

The Hyndburn Academy is seeking a Data Officer to join our administrative team and support day-to-day school data operations. You will work with curriculum teams, leadership and external organisations to maintain data integrity and regulatory compliance while supporting learner performance.

Reporting to the Cluster Data Manager, you will collaborate with Accrington Academy and Marsden Heights Community College and contribute to high-quality data services across the school group.

Qualifications

• Proven IT, organisational and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail with ability to manage confidential information.
• Proactive and reliable approach to work.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
• Familiarity with ICT packages and school data systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the school's MIS.
• Ensure pupil data is accurate and compliant.
• Produce reports and analyse data for senior leaders.
• Support attendance, admissions, and census returns.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth data processes.
