October 2026 or January 2027 Start | Full-Time | Permanent | £32,000–£42,000 DOE
Are you an experienced School Data Officer, Exams Officer or education administrator who thrives on accuracy, organisation and responsibility?
Do you know your way around SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or another school MIS and understand just how important accurate data is to a successful school?
Pplease you’re looking for a role where your expertise is valued by SLT rather than simply viewed as another administrative function?
KPI Education is supporting an ambitious and successful London secondary school to recruit an exceptional School Data & Exams Officer for an October 2026 or January 2027 start.
When Results Day Runs Smoothly, Nobody Notices. That’s the Point.
Behind every successful examination series is somebody who has planned for every candidate, every room, every paper and every deadline.
This school is looking for exactly that person.
As the Data & Exams Officer, you’ll become a key figure within the school’s operational team, ensuring examinations are delivered flawlessly while providing senior leaders with the accurate information they need to make decisions.
This could be the perfect next move if you’re currently working as a:
Exams Officer | Data Officer | Exams Manager | Data Manager | School Administrator | MIS Officer | Assessment Officer
Previous experience within a secondary school, sixth form, academy or Multi-Academy Trust would be highly desirable.
Experience using systems such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, SISRA Analytics, 4Matrix or similar education platforms would also be advantageous.
Most importantly, you’ll be meticulous, organised and calm under pressure.
When hundreds of pupils are sitting examinations, deadlines are immovable and results need to be accurate, the school needs someone who simply gets it right.
This is not an Exams Officer position where you’ll disappear into an office and only be noticed during GCSE season.
The Headteacher and SLT recognise the importance of high-quality data, assessment and examination management and want someone who can become a trusted part of the wider school operation.
You’ll be given responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to improve existing processes rather than simply inherit them.
You may not actively be looking.
You might already be happy in your current school.
But if you’re an experienced Data or Exams professional wondering whether there is a role offering more responsibility, recognition and progression, this is worth exploring.
