Education Authority is seeking a part-time School Crossing Patrol at Carrickfergus Grammar School. The role involves controlling traffic and ensuring safe passage for pupils, with duties at crossing points, signing and hazard awareness.

Working pattern is 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a morning and afternoon shift. Training will be provided, and equality and safeguarding are central to the role.

Qualifikationen

• Willingness to undertake job-related training (essential).
• Demonstrable knowledge of road safety and traffic awareness.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to use own initiative while following procedures.

Aufgaben

• Control the behaviour of children at crossing areas.
• Comply with the Education Authority’s Instructions to School Crossing Patrols.
• Adhere to Health and Safety at Work (NI) Order and other regulations.
• Carry out required paperwork and duties within the grade.
• Support the safe and smooth passage of pupils to and from school.
