The Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a part-time School Crossing Patrol Warden for Brampton Cortonwood Infant School. The role involves guiding pupils across the Knollbeck Lane zebra crossing at the start and end of the day, in term-time only, totaling 5.5 hours per week.

Enhancements DBS check is required, and a medical assessment is part of the appointment; training is provided. The role offers flexible hours and an opportunity to engage with the local school community.

Responsabilidades

• Help pupils cross busy roads safely at the Knollbeck Lane zebra crossing.
• Make sure children arrive at school and get home without risk.
• Manage traffic at the crossing.
• Communicate clearly with children and drivers.
• Engage with families and help create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for the school community.
• Work the morning session 08:15 to 08:55 and afternoon session 14:50 to 15:20.
