Barnsley Council is seeking a School Crossing Patrol to help children cross streets safely in our community. The role emphasises clear communication, safeguarding, and teamwork within a local authority environment.

The successful candidate will work part-time during term time, approximately 5.41 hours per week, with annual pay in the £13.28–£13.48 per hour range and a permanent contract. DBS checks and basic English proficiency are required, with visa sponsorship not available.

Qualificações

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to relate well to children, parents and school staff
• Ability to work on own initiative within set guidelines

Responsabilidades

• Help children and other members of the school community to get to and from school safely
• Maintain confidentiality and follow safeguarding procedures
• Work as part of the school crossing patrol team to support local safety
