Join Essex County Council’s School Crossing Patrol Team as a School Crossing Patrol Officer at Stanway Primary School, Villa Road, Colchester, and support your local community.
Assist in ensuring the safety of pedestrians crossing the road to and from school and surrounding areas, with one session in the morning and one in the afternoon.
We seek a punctual, reliable, approachable individual who enjoys engaging with the public.
This role involves approximately 7.5 hours per week, including holiday pay. You will work during the 39 weeks of the school year, for about 45 minutes in the morning (08:00 - 09:00) and 45 minutes in the afternoon (14:45 - 15:45), depending on site needs. Uniform, equipment, and training are provided.
