Job Details
  • Contract Type: Temporary up to 31st March 2026 (Funded by Pontardawe Town Council)
  • Hours: 10 hours per week, 2 hours per day (Term Time Only)
  • Location: Swansea Road, Trebannos
Job Description

The role involves gathering and safely assisting pedestrians crossing the road near the school. This includes controlling traffic and supervising pedestrians during crossings. The position is subject to an Enhanced Check from the Disclosure & Barring Service (Child). Neath Port Talbot Council is committed to safeguarding children and young people, and all staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment.

Applicants should seek approval from their current manager before applying via a secondment opportunity. The recruitment process will include rigorous safer recruitment assessments to ensure the safety of children and young people.
