Cover Supervisor - Petworth, West Sussex
Salary £23077 inclusive of holiday pay per annum for 34 weeks pa.
Pension after three months and use of pool gym free parking and free lunch on duty.

Our client is an HMC co-educational boarding and day school that nurtures academic excellence, sporting success and creative talent. The 400-acre campus on the edge of the South Downs is an area of outstanding beauty.

Are you reliable, flexible and confident dealing with students between the ages of 10 and 16? Are you good at using your initiative and able to promote academic progress in the classroom professionally and calmly? Could you supervise work set by a teacher and manage behaviour effectively in class? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Our client is looking for someone to provide cover in the classroom. You will be taking registers and following procedures to allow classes to continue when their teacher is away.

The role is full time (Apply online only , term time only (34 weeks).

Essential qualities to:

Live within a commutable distance of Petworth, West Sussex
Have experience working with young people in a learning environment
Be confident and assertive when dealing with pupils
Be able to work as part of a team and independently, using your own initiative
Be able to flexibly adapt to overseeing students within different subject areas across year groups
Be able to support the learning policies of the school and become an active member of the team
Be able to promote positive learning outcomes for pupils of varying abilities
Be able to provide two professional references and complete satisfactory all safeguarding requirements
