A leading school in Reading is seeking a dedicated School Counsellor to support students' mental health. The role involves working closely with young people to create a safe space for discussing their concerns. School Counsellor (term time only)
Self Employed - 2/3 days per week
Required September/October 2025
We are seeking a School Counsellor who is able to work closely with our students to provide a supportive environment where our young people can safely explore concerns, particularly those relating to their mental health.
The successful candidate should have experience of working with children and young people and believes in bringing out the best in every student, regardless of their background.
It is essential that the counsellor appointed understands and adheres to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework or equivalent organisation, is accredited and ideally has been humanistically trained.
