Are you looking for a new role? Our client is currently looking to recruit 3 School Cooks for 3 separate Schools located in Hazel Grove, Reddish and Droylsden.

Hours & Pay: Mon - Fri 8.30am - 1:30pm, £13.26ph.

You will need to hold an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check dated within the last 12 months for the position as it is working in Schools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and cook a variety of meals to meet the dietary needs and nutritional targets for all school children.
• Develop additional dishes to complement existing menus.
• Work with the school and its pupils to regularly increase the uptake of school meals.
• Maintain the highest standard of food preparation in line with FFT kitchen standards, using appropriate equipment in keeping with Environmental Health requirements.
• Make mealtimes a pleasant experience for all children.
• Follow a cleaning schedule to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, complying with Health & Safety Procedures, the Food Safety Act (1990) and the Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995.

These are ongoing week-to-week roles with the possibility of permanent employment for the right candidates.
