Arc Recruitment (Yorks) Ltd is seeking an experienced School Cook for a temporary, ongoing position in Halifax. You will prepare and serve meals to pupils and staff, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety throughout the shift.

The role offers consistent daytime hours Monday to Friday, with a dedicated catering team in a school environment and no evenings or weekends. DBS and Food Hygiene certification are required or readily obtainable.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check is essential, or willingness to obtain one.
• Food Hygiene Certificate is essential.
• Previous experience in a school kitchen or catering environment is desirable.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 2:30pm.
