Job Title: School Cook

Location: Falkland House School, Falkland KY15 7AE

Salary: £24,500.00 per annum (not pro rata)

Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9.30am - 5.30pm, Friday 7.00am - 1.00pm

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

About The Role

To be responsible for the planning and preparation of high-quality food and catering service to the school, and to manage and supervise all kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan menus considering the dietary needs of pupils.
  2. Monitor stocks, manage portion control, and ensure quality within budgetary controls.
  3. Set up and clean kitchen areas daily.
  4. Prepare for daily and weekly demands of the school.
  5. Minimize waste.
  6. Provide suitable food for staff/pupils with dietary requirements.
