Job summary

Pertemps Scotland is recruiting for a Cook/Chef role in Edinburgh, offering 24-36 hours per week on a temporary basis with potential for permanent opportunities. Start ASAP subject to checks, and PVG certificate is required with costs payable by the successful applicant.

You will prepare daily meals, manage stock and ensure food safety, hygiene and compliance, while catering for dietary requirements and working across various locations in Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or chef.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Confident in managing stock and placing food orders.
• Experience catering for dietary requirements (desirable).

Location: Edinburgh - Various locations

Hours: 24-36 hours per week available

Pay Rate: £14.27 per hour

Duration: Temporary ongoing, with the possibility of a permanent opportunity

Start Date: ASAP, subject to completion of background checks

Please note: This role requires a PVG Certificate for Children, or both Children and Adults. The cost is £59 for a new application or £18 to update an existing certificate, payable by the successful applicant.
