School Club Manager – Leading Children’s Play and Sport Provision Company

Location: Stratford, E15 2JQ

Hours: 15 hours per week (3-6pm Monday to Friday during school term-time)

Salary: Up to £15 per hour (including London Weighting)

Start Date: Provisional start date of 1st July

We are recruiting for the leading provider of out-of-school hours and wraparound childcare for primary school children in the UK. This company continues to grow in size, quality, and scope every year and is looking for someone passionate about children’s play and activity.

As a School Club Manager, you will manage all day-to-day aspects of running a small to medium-sized after-school club at your school, including scheduling, people management, cost control, and stakeholder relationships with the school and parents. You will also have the opportunity to work during holidays as part of activity and sports camps.

Ideally, you will have experience in:

  • Leading a Team: Understanding the need to be firm but fair, genuine, and respectful of everyone's differences and uniqueness.
  • Leading Performance: Managing finances, setting clear goals, thinking creatively, and confidently making decisions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Listening to children, parents, schools, and other stakeholders to create the best experiences.
  • Leading Yourself: Seeking and embracing feedback, staying calm under pressure, and striving to exceed expectations.
  • Leading Play & Activities: Creating a fun, energetic, structured environment for children to grow and develop.
