The Governing Body of Ffynnon Tâf Primary School is looking to appoint a highly motivated and committed professional to lead the work of the school office as part of our dedicated school team. All learners are encouraged to “Believe and Achieve Together” in a caring and inclusive ethos in the community of Taff’s Well. The school currently has 135 pupils on roll with 5 classes. The successful candidate will be responsible for budget management, financial controls, HR processes, pupil administration and other general school office management processes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the school office, with responsibility for budget management, financial controls and HR processes.
  • Oversee pupil administration and other general school office operations.
  • Maintain effective communication with families and staff; support the Headteacher to ensure smooth daily running of the school.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Excellent IT skills, experience of Bromcom and SIMS, and Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to use ICT for word processing, spreadsheets and data management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and people skills.
  • Ability to handle cash for banking, petty cash and administer school accounts.
  • Ability to use a range of reprographic equipment; strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Awareness of confidentiality and data protection requirements.
  • Supportive and professional manner when dealing with families; ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work in a busy, varied environment and to support school routines with the Headteacher.
