Job summary

Mitie is hiring a Cleaning Supervisor to deliver high-standard cleaning services at Hermitage Academy in Helensburgh, Scotland. The role includes supervising routine duties, ensuring SLA compliance, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

The successful candidate will have cleaning experience or training availability, demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and initiative, and adhere to Mitie safety and safeguarding policies while maintaining discretion and security on site.

Responsibilities

• Undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
• Work within a team and under their own initiative.
• Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness in line with the Contract and SLAs.
• Ensure that the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.
• Ensure equipment is clean, well maintained and safe to use.
• Report maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.
• Maintain security and follow policy procedures.
• Understand the designated area and time allocations for tasks.
• Know all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used by Mitie.
• Set a good example in dress, behaviour, punctuality and attendance.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and raise concerns as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ensure contractors/visitors comply with safety and security on site.
• Build positive relationships with customers and seek improvements.
