Job summary

Stoke Damerel Community College is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team and ensure high standards of cleanliness across the campus, enabling pupils and staff to focus on teaching. You will manage schedules, coordinate with colleagues and external contractors, and plan deep cleans, events and general duties in line with COSHH and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a team.
• Experience of general cleaning, including furnishings and fittings, carpets and other floor surfaces on a regular basis.
• Previous training / experience relating to Health & safety within a cleaning environment and COSHH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the campus is cleaned appropriately, directing staff to provide a comprehensive cleaning service.
• Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials and re-order as needed.
• Plan and deliver schedules for deep cleans and events such as parents' evenings and other hires.
