Job summary

Claires Court in Maidenhead is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead the cleaning team across its three Maidenhead schools. The role is hands-on, with two shift patterns, and permanent full-time employment.

You will supervise, train, and allocate work while ensuring health and safety standards are followed. Prior cleaning and supervisory experience is required, along with COSHH familiarity and reliable, organised performance.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning and supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Familiar with COSHH and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the cleaning team.
• Allocate work and monitor cleaning standards.
• Work hands on alongside the team.
• Train and induct new staff.
• Manage cleaning stock, materials and equipment.
• Ensure COSHH, PPE and health and safety procedures are followed.
• Complete relevant checks and basic administration.
• Report faults, hazards and maintenance issues.
• Work closely with school and site teams.
